Scouting America requires that all registered volunteers take the new safeguarding youth training each year. Additionally, all adults who are camping with our pack must also take this training (including those who are not paid/registered Scouting America volunteers).

To check your status:
Log in to my.scouting.org
On your profile under your name, it will list your Member ID as well as your "SYT Expiration Date" (Safeguarding Youth Training).
Instructions:
Enroll in the training: https://training.scouting.org/learning-plans/2025
Adults will need to log in to my.scouting.org using their own credentials.
Adults will need to go to "My Training" under their own profile. Make sure you are not under your child's profile!
After completing the training, please forward a screenshot or a copy of the certificate to pack10miami@gmail.com or text to Ashley Gill, Pack 10 Committee Chair
This training used to be called "Youth Protection Training" (YPT) prior to summer 2025. Adults and volunteers who previously completed the YPT training that was good for two years all have a new expiration date of 5/31/2026 or earlier, depending on their original expiration date.
